Daily Chores

(every day upkeep and house cleaning) 

• Make coffee & breakfast

• Wash all dirty dishes

• Put away pans, containers, dishes & utensils

• Wipe down all kitchen surfaces

• Spot mop kitchen floor (as needed)

• Start the woodstove

• Fill firewood bin in the hall (3 bags)

• Sweep hall & kitchen

• Help prepare dinner

• Seal & put away leftovers

• Wash dishes

• Put away clean dishes

• Wipe down stove, counters, table

• Water garden and yard plants

Weekly Chores

(every day upkeep and house cleaning)

• Dust & remove cobwebs

• Vacuum floors & carpets

• Sweep/beat front doormats

• Sweep garage, terrace

• Sweep, dust, vacuum stairs, 2nd floor

• Mop kitchen & hall

• Straighten house shoe box

• Wash laundry - towels, sheets, clothes, hang

• Fold and store dry clothes

• Sweep, straighten garage

• Straighten living room & hall

• Clean out refridge, wipe down 

• Empty trash cans around house

• Empty ash buckets

• Collect & put out trash (Wed)

• Straighten living room, halls, bedrooms
